On June 12th I had to go to Orientation for FSU. Luckily I was scheduled to go for the same week as my friend Emily, so we stood in line next to eachother so we could room together in Degraf Hall. Orientation was 2.5 days and 2 nights. The first day we got seperated into groups by the Alphabet, so Emily and I were seperated, and I joined "Alonna's Anaconda's." And when we finally turned in for the night we tried to get to know our suite mates... but they werent very friendly, so we hung out in the study room with these two girls that we found wandering the hall way. The first full day we had a bunch of workshops scheduled and met up occasionally with our family. That night Emily and I went to "The Club Down Under" which was really strange, and not very fun so once we got back into the dorm we went down to the lobby to look for people to hang out with. We ended up playing Ping-Pong with a big beach ball (because we couldnt find any ping pong balls) with these two boys we met Dylan and Chase. And that turned into a pretty big Ping Pong game once a couple other kids joined in. We eventually found ping pong balls, and tried running around the table to hit the balls.
By the end of Orientation I was ready to be done, it was very repetitive and full of boring information. But Emily and I had fun hanging out together and waking up at 5:00am.
